Bio

Hello! My name is Jamie, and I am currently in my senior year at UTSA. I am set to graduate this upcoming Spring semester in 2025. I am a double major in History and English with a minor in Foreign Languages with a concentration in Korean. I am fluent in Spanish and about intermediate level at Korean along with English. Last summer in 2023, I had the amazing experience of going on the UTSA’s summer abroad to South Korea and I have hopes to go back sometime in the future. I plan to go into a master’s program once I graduate with the hopes of getting into teaching, both here at home and abroad.

I am San Antonio born and raised, so I know much about our city (though I am always learning new things). I also know much about the Korean community at UTSA and its study abroad programs, if anyone is interested. Some things that I enjoy doing in my free time include reading, watching Kdramas, sewing, crochet, embroidery, and traveling; and I would be more than happy to talk your ear off about any of these things. I am excited to be working with the Honors College students and I am looking forward to what this semester will bring us.
