The Honors College provides this scholarship, up to $2000, to undergraduate students interested in conducting dedicated research, to support living costs while conducting research. Due to limited funding, there are limited awards. Students will provide a short abstract of the research they intend to complete and the name and contact information of a faculty member who has agreed to mentor the research. Research activity must meet the criteria for an Honors College Experience. Awarded students will present their experience at the Fall ELF, a poster session where they will compete for a potential additional award. Applications are due by May 1st.

Due to limited funding, there are limited awards. The internship must meet the criteria for an Honors College Experience. Students rejected at one cycle are encouraged to reapply for the next summer and get feedback on their application, which will be provided, and may resubmit. Though we do offer some large awards each year, most grants will range up to $2000.
The Honors College offers students the opportunity to participate in a number of different programs to further expand knowledge, especially in the realms of professional development, leadership development, and public service. Special programs are fully integrated into the Honors College curriculum, making credit transfer simple and ensuring that students are working toward Honors requirements.
