Awards are available to fund Honors College student experiences throughout the academic year. Mark your calendar and take advantage of drop-in counseling in-person or virtually for guidance and to answer all types of questions related to Honors.
Honors Experiential Learning Award - Open Each month September - May
The ELA is available to all complete and submitted applications each month of the academic year excluding summer (June-August). Typical awards are $500. Visit with an Honors counselor to ensure your idea will qualify as an experience for this award.
The Honors College Study Abroad Planning Scholarship - Cycle 1 - Open August, Closes October
Cycle 2 - Open December, Closes February
This award helps support UT San Antonio approved study abroad experiences which require thoughtful advance planning. These are larger awards to help defray the cost of travel abroad.
Honors College General Application - Open October - April 1st
Complete this one application and be considered for many endowed scholarship awards. Some are subject to renewal if requirements are met.
Honors College Research & Internship Opportunity - Open March - May 31st
This award is available for students involved in unpaid internships or research experiences and are enrolled in at least 1 credit hour for the summer. These are larger awards to support work completed in the summer months.
