Teaching in the Honors College

Faculty from across UTSA colleges teach courses in the Honors College. Faculty teach Honors courses under different formats, from having designated Honors courses within their department to cross-listing courses in their home department, to receiving a course release to teach a designated Honors seminar. Faculty who would like to develop coursework that promotes experiential pedagogy for our students are encouraged to contact Hector Aguilar, Faculty Fellow for Academic Affairs for information regarding our Faculty Fellows program.

Research

As the Honors College looks to increase experiential learning opportunities for its students, we are always welcoming faculty who would like to include undergraduate students in their research. If you would like students to join your research projects, please complete our short, six-question survey about your need for undergraduate research assistants. The information will be used to match students for opportunities and direct them to the proper point of contact on your research team. We look to include students from all academic colleges at UTSA.
