The Honors College is located on the first and second floors of the Graduate School & Research Building. The first floor hosts our lounge for Honors students, the Top Scholar lounge, offices for Top Scholar and Terry Scholar programs, and our Assistant Dean for Enrollment office. On the second floor, you will find our front desk, Deans' offices, Honors counselors, and the Office of Nationally Competitive Awards.
The lounge is a study space where students can relax, work on projects with friends, and visit with Honors staff. The lounge is also the place where we host many social events as well as display student projects.
The Experiential Learning Lab is where our students come to work with Honors College staff to pursue experiences outside of the classroom. Students can meet with staff to learn about how to study abroad, find an internship in their field, or pursue a number of other experiences that count toward requirements in our curriculum. Having lab space means that students can work together on finding opportunities as well as get real-time advice from staff as they work on applications. The lab is located in the Graduate School & Research Building on the first floor of the Honors College (GSR 1.204F).
On the first floor, the Honors College also has a small classroom down the hall from our larger engaged space. This room has moveable furniture and can be configured in a number of ways for up to 20 students.
If you are an Honors College member, faculty, or UTSA staff and would like to reserve these spaces, please see our space reservations policy page .
