Our Location
The Honors College is located on the first and second floors of the Graduate School & Research Building on the Main campus. Honors also has a downtown location in the San Pedro II building on the second floor. The first floor on Main campus GSR building hosts our lounge for Honors students, the Top Scholar lounge, offices for Top Scholars and Terry Scholar programs, as well as our Office of Nationally Competitive Awards. On the second floor, you will find our front desk, Leadership offices, Student Life team, and the Finance team. All Honors teams have rotating presence at the downtown location to best serve student majors located in any of the downtown campus buildings.
Honors Lounge
The lounge is a study space where students can relax, work on projects with friends, and visit with Honors staff. The lounge is also the place where we host many social events as well as display student projects.
Experiential Learning Lab
The Experiential Learning Lab is where our students come to work with Honors College staff to pursue experiences outside of the classroom. Students can meet with staff to learn about how to study abroad, find an internship in their field, or pursue a number of other experiences that count toward requirements in our curriculum. Having lab space means that students can work together on finding opportunities as well as get real-time advice from staff as they work on applications. The lab is located in the Graduate School & Research Building on the first floor of the Honors College (GSR 1.204F).
San Pedro II (Suite 220)
The downtown San Pedro II location, similar to the ELL, offers the same opportunities to students and is where students can work with Honors College staff to discuss a variety of programs and resources to include scholarships, internships, and experiences outside of the classroom. The downtown San Pedro II Honors College office is located on the second floor in the USAA Student Success Center-Suite 220.
Classrooms
On the first floor, the Honors College also has a small classroom down the hall from our larger engaged space. This room has moveable furniture and can be configured in a number of ways for up to 20 students.
