The UTSA Top Scholar program is a four-year merit scholarship that develops award-winning, academically talented, and exceptional servant leaders. We recruit high-caliber students from across Texas to be part of this exciting program. Top Scholars enjoy intellectual camaraderie, establishing close and lasting friendships with other students and professional relationships with faculty. Special Scholar information sessions will be held in the fall in anticipation of the December application deadline.
The Terry Foundation has funded approximately a total of 310 Terry Scholars to attend UTSA since 2006. UTSA currently houses 58 active terry scholars, who receive full tuition, room, and board for four years. Howard and Nancy Terry created the Terry Foundation to help young people help themselves. Their legacy lives on in the thousands of Scholars who bear their name and exemplify the four Pillars of the Terry Scholarship Program: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Community. Special Scholar information sessions will be held in the fall in anticipation of the December application deadline.
Admission to the Honors College is offered to a select number of highly motivated and successful students who wish to take charge of their education and achieve their highest potential at UTSA.
