Hi guys! My name is Sarbani and I am really excited to be one of the honors peer coaches for this year. I am a sophomore here at UTSA and am majoring in Biology. I was born in Nepal and moved here when I was 3 years old. I am fluent in Nepali along with English and I hope I can improve my Spanish skills soon.
Being a pre-med student, I am passionate about healthcare and the wellbeing of others. This past summer, I was fortunate enough to start a job at a surgical oncology unit back home in Austin. I learned so much and saw a whole different side of people's lives which changed the way I look at so many things. I hope to be a pediatrician in the future which is why I am also starting to work at a pediatric hospital here in San Antonio. Outside of academics and career, I love reading and traveling. I hope to travel more this upcoming summer!
