Three UTSA students were recently named Barry Goldwater Scholars. The scholarship is one of the most prestigious national awards for undergraduate students excelling in research in the natural sciences, engineering and mathematics who plan to pursue careers in research.

UTSA Honors College student Margot Duque named Truman Scholar

Margot Duque, a third-year UTSA Honors College student majoring in public administration and policy and minoring in French, has been named a 2023 Truman Scholar. She is one of only 62 students selected nationwide out of 705 applicants from 275 institutions.
