Award: The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi currently awards 54 Fellowships of $8,500 each, six at $20,000 each, and two at $35,000 each to members entering the first year of graduate or professional study. UTSA's Phi Kappa Phi chapter may select one candidate from graduating UTSA students to compete for the society-wide awards.
Requirements:
- To apply for UTSA nomination, a student does not need to be a PKP member, but must be eligible to become inducted into Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
- You must have applied to or be enrolled into a graduate program (at UTSA or elsewhere; international degrees are eligible).
- Students should not have completed 10 more graduate credits before April 15 of the application year.
Deadlines:
- In order to apply for UTSA nomination, students should submit a pre-application by March 15. The pre-application can be accessed by request to the PKP awards campus representative. Please do not submit an application on the PKP website.
- Students should also arrange for two letters of recommendation to be sent to Andrew Chapman by March 15. For the purposes of nomination, it is ok if the letter of recommendation is one submitted to a graduate program. Nominees will request that faculty tailor their letters to be addressed to PKP.
