Description: Grants starting at $30,000 and covering tuition, room & board, and various other study abroad expenses are available to Master’s degree candidates majoring in the following 7 areas (with preference given to candidates who have demonstrated an active past commitment in these areas as well):
Applicant Profile: Applicants should be community- and service-minded and have a record demonstrating that they will be a positive representation of Rotary International and the South Central Texas District.
Application Process: Student apply in consultation with UTSA's Office of Nationally Competitive Awards. In order to apply for a Rotary Global Award, you must be sponsored by a local Rotary club within Rotary 5840 South Central Texas District. We can help you research local clubs and reach out to contact them.
Application Deadline: While the Rotary Global applicatin deadline is in late November, students must first obtain club sponsorship. We recommend working on the written application during the summer prior to submission and begin reaching out to Rotary clubs in early fall.
